J-Tech with 20 years experience designing and suppling tooling and feeders for In-Die Assembly installing pierce nuts, clinch nuts, riv nuts, pierce studs, clinch studs, rivets, locator pins, teflon coated steel bushings, now supplies complete systems to install shouldered plastic bushing within the stamping die. The bushings are loaded into the feeder hopper, the stainless steel feeder bowl orientates the bushings, tangled bushings are auto ejected and bushings are blown from the feeder to the tooling installed within the stamping die. The bushing install is a two step process. The first step is to install the bushing into the stamping. The second step is seating the bushing and final sizing the ID. The tooling stages several bushing and releases one bushing at a time into the escapement. Press rates up to 35 strokes per minute.
J-Tech also offers secondary assembly solutions. These include stand alone die sets to be used within customer's existing presses, robot load machines and operator load machines. For additional information stop by our booth A1436 at Fabtech 2018 or visit our website www.j-techdesign.com
