  GANTRY ROLL WELD PLANISHER

  Introducing a revolutionary new design in gantry roll planisher systems. The automatic gantry planisher proprietary tooling allows the part to stay in place with out use of hands. Now the planisher operator no longer needs hands near the planishing process. Planisher for diameters from 1 inch ID to 36 inch ID and larger. This unique safe gantry planishing roll process ensures a smooth welds with increase strength. Used on all types of metals up to one quarter inch for standard models. Custom designs always welcomed, we like a challenging applications!! 

  

  The motorized planisher gantry carriage travels on four linear rail bearing blocks. Powered by a 2 Hp electric motor, the carriage contains an 8 inch/203mm stroke air ram pump. The hand wheel is used to adjust the ram?s travel. Our gantry weld planisher has special control panel plus operator safety screen made of expanded metal.

  

  Weld Planishers are some of the most useful tools to improve welds cosmetic appearance as well improving the welded metal joint's strength. Welding planishers are often used from everything from aerospace parts and devices to common stainless kitchen sinks.

  

  The Roll Gantry Planisher uses a 6 inch/152mm diameter steel roll to flatten and eliminate the weld crown. The wheel is mounted to a travel carriage where an air ram pump exerts pressure between the part and planisher roll. The welded part is mounted on the mandrel where it remains stationary during the planishing operation. Engineered to provide many part shapes and sizes can be planished using a combination of different wheel surface profiles or support mandrel geometries.

  The ERGO longitudinal seam welders are designed to deliver high levels of accuracy using linear rails. Whereas traditional seam welders use less precise rack and pinion track setups that use cam followers. The ERGO automatic seam welders use precision linear rails that are used to move the travel carriage smoothly over the clamped seam weld joint. Linear rail technology provides a quality durable automatic seam welder systems.Linear track provides a much stronger hold and gives you the free travel with a Ergo TC-3 travel carriage. The track is machined to a 0.005-inch straightness tolerance, so that the seam will be as close to straight as possible. 

  

  ERGO simple air bag replacement design takes minutes. During MIG (GMAW) welding process some weld splatter in the seamer bed area  will find openings over time. UV light and weld spatter from the arc welding process eventually requires the air bags replacement. The airbags can take hours to replace on other brands. The ERGO seamer's bladder takes minutes to replace damaged air bags and start seam welding production again.
