    Whirl Wet Dust Collectors perform at exceptionally high efficiencies: 99%+ range for a broad variety of soluble and insoluble particulate. Units are self-cleaning; particulate is deposited at the bottom of the unit as a dense filter cake. Patented design has no moving parts, does not use “maintenance” components such as nozzles or pumps, and consumes minimal water.  Energy generated inside the unit will not allow the system to clog under any operating conditions, so, the agglomeration and sticky residues that plug other dust collectors are not an issue with Whirl Wet.

    Several models, each tailored to the dust loading, including the Model MCD, which operates continuously, without shut-down.  Capacities are 500 cfm to 50,000 cfm; construction is PVC, polypropylene, stainless steel, or alloy materials.

  • Tri-Mer’s versatile Tri-NOx scrubber system accommodates any combination of NO and NO2, including nitration-related NOx, which is typically high on the NO2 scale, and combustion-related NOx, which is generally higher in NO.

    Tri-NOx guarantees a clear stack.  Tri-NOx technology eliminates the visible plume generated by high NO2 loading.  This yellow-brown gaseous emission is generated by processes using nitric acid in conjunction with metal refining, metal finishing or chemical nitration.

    Tri-NOx has no cfm or ppm limitations.  Tri-NOx systems achieve virtually any target stack output including reducing loads of 100,000 ppm to below 5 ppm.

    Tri-NOx systems are guaranteed to operate within pre-determined ppm limits for stack output without repeated adjustments.  Tri-NOx is the technology of choice wherever NOx emissions are most restrictive!

    Tri-NOx is applicable to hot and cold gas phase systems. Tri-NOx handles multiple gas stream residuals, including Cl2, HCl, SO2, other acids, other gases, caustics, and particulates.  This wet chemical non-catalytic system cannot be blinded and there is no catalyst to poison.
  • Tri-Mer C/E-1 Chrome Scrubber scrubs all chrome, including Cr6 and Cr3, at efficiencies of 99.5% or higher, regardless of input loading.  The system is all–mechanical, and does not consume chemicals or generate waste. 

    The Tri-Mer chrome scrubber features a multi-layer polypropylene pad system which operates under negative pressure.  The filter apparatus is washed continuously in a nearly closed loop configuration.  When chrome levels approach a set point (generally 3000 ppm) water is forwarded to chrome recovery, or returned to the plating bath.

    The C/E-1 is a low energy system generating less than 8" of internal static pressure, therefore energy consumption is extraordinarily low.  Total water use is also low: average consumption is 15 gallons per hour for a 20,000 cfm unit.  The C/E-1 chrome scrubber has no internal moving parts to wear or replace.  Chrome can be recovered from both the gas stream and the filter.

    Systems are available in capacities to 50,000 cfm.  The system is projected to provide ten years of continuous service before primary maintenance is required.
