Kankakee, IL - Electron Beam Technologies has added two new domes to its line of Dura-Domes®. Dura-Domes® attach to the top of bulk wire and electrode containers and allow for easy payout of material into Electron Beam’s conduit systems. Often used in harsh environments, such as the welding industry, they keep contaminants out of the container, ensuring the product remains clean. They feature a clear plastic that allows for “at a glance” inspection of the contents of the container.
Electron Beam Technologies is adding the two new products to meet demand for Dura-Domes® that fit on containers other than cylindrical drums. The box dome comes in two sizes 20”x20” and 24”x24”. They are constructed with durable cardboard and have reinforced corners. The octagonal dome currently comes in one size 22”x22”. It features all plastic construction and rounded edges. These 2 new domes join Electron Beam’s circular domes which are designed to fit on round drums with diameters of 20”, 23” or 26” and secure with a ring clamp.
All Dura-Dome® products come with a reinforced fitting at their apex to connect the dome to any of Electron Beam Technologies variety of wire conduit systems, allowing wire to be readily available far away from the bulk container. It includes a ceramic insert within the fitting to drastically reduce wear and improve the lifespan of the product. They each also come with a clear access flap to allow easy set-up of the dome.
