  • Global Shop Solutions, a leading developer of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, announces the release of its new Mobile Customer Relationship Management (CRM) product. Mobile CRM gives sales people, customer service reps, and company executives who use the ERP system complete visibility of customer data from their smart phones, tablets and other mobile devices.

    “Today’s manufacturers can’t afford to get trapped behind their desks in order to access customer information from their ERP system,” says Global Shop Solutions president Dusty Alexander. “Our Mobile CRM product enables our customers to view all the system data they’re accustomed to seeing in their offices from anywhere they can access the Internet.”

    A giant step forward in CRM technology, Mobile CRM enables Global Shop Solutions customers to remotely view sales orders, quotes, job status, contact information and other data required to provide fast, responsive customer service. They use the application to manage their own activities, including creating events with reminders, submitting service ticket requests, and other internal tasks.

    To launch Mobile CRM, customers use an icon on their mobile devices to log into the product. Once signed in, they have complete access to all the information in their customer database.   • Global Shop Solutions, an international developer of ERP software for the manufacturing industry, supported two local non-profits to change the lives of those who need it most. With a long history of supporting the community, Global Shop Solutions partnered with Hope’s Path, an organization that uses a faith-based community approach to direct foster youth towards confident and sustainable independence, and with the Montgomery County Women’s Center (MCWC), a center that provides resources, counseling, housing and more to women and children who have suffered physical or sexual abuse.

    As part of its annual team building week, the nearly 100 employees of the Global Shop Solutions’ Customer Services Team broke into several groups to improve the functionality of at the facilities at MCWC and Hope’s Path. The group at Hope’s Path organized the library and food pantry, cleaned out and organized the resource room, hung blinds, and more.

    “Global Shop Solutions is about loving, serving, and caring for the communities we live in around the world,” says Nick Knight, Director of Customer Services for Global Shop Solutions. “The projects we were involved in at MCWC and Hope’s Path represent the spirit of Global Shop Solutions.     Hope's Path is a non-profit 501(c)3 that uses a faith based community approach to direct foster youth towards confident sustainable independence. Their program consists of 3 key program components; life-skills development, Christian mentoring, and education/career launch.    

    Hope’s Path does not operate as an emergency or homeless shelter, has ZERO TOLERANCE for drug/alcohol abuse and does not allow any weapons or handguns on the premises. Participants in the program are not mandatorily placed by Child Protective Services or any courts.

    The Montgomery County Women’s Center has been committed for many years to providing a 24-hour hotline, safe shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy and legal services to survivors of family violence, sexual assault and stalking. Their shelter has been providing a safe emergency refuge for abused women and children for over 30 years. The shelter can house up to 75 women and children each night. The Women’s Center provides direct services to clients who are of many diverse backgrounds, and do not discriminate against any person on the basis of gender, age, race, religion, national origin, cultural background, disability or sexual orientation.

  • After a year full of vision and construction, Global Shop Solutions, a global developer of ERP software for the manufacturing industry, opened its doors to their new state-of-the-art facility, making it the third building at their headquarters in The Woodlands, TX.

    On Thursday, June 29, 2017, nearly 200 people from the Greater Houston area gathered at the facility for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The modern 10,000 square-foot building is home to a 72-seat training room full of the latest technology, a community dining/kitchen area complete with a market, and an outdoor, covered patio designed to seat up to 100 people.

    “Our new building is a springboard to another 40 years of loving, caring, and serving our great customers,” says President & CEO Dusty Alexander. “I’d like to thank our internal team comprised of Director of Human Resources Jayland Keeney, Vice President of Research & Development Erika Klein, and Designer Andrea Alexander, for leading the design and build of a modern and collaborative space for our Global Shop Solutions employees and customers.
