 Press Releases

  • HGG’s new leasing option offers manufacturers and fabricators an affordable option to increase capabilities with 3D profiling machine technology. With a small upfront investment and then manageable monthly installments, companies can increase productivity, eliminate layout costs, as well as reduce costs associated with fitting, welding and grinding. Using the HGG leasing option, companies will find that the machine investment will virtually pay for itself each month.

HGG is offering leasing and lease-to-buy options for its entire line of 3D profiling machinery, which includes their entry level ProCutter 600, their entire line of SPC pipe-profiling machines and vessel and head cutting machines, RPC beam cutting machinery, PCL robotic profiling lines, TCL tube and pipe cutting lines, and their new ship profiler. Contact your HGG sales specialist for specific details.

Along with advanced 3D pipe-profiling technology, HGG says that its leasing option offers manufacturers a wide range of benefits. Not only does it give manufacturers the option of expanding budgets while conserving capital, it gives companies the convenience of not having to arrange bank financing or having to convince their capital budget committees into making a large purchase. Plus, and with only a fixed cost, they can take advantage of current tax benefits, while protecting themselves from many ownership risks.

HGG, headquartered in Wieringerwerf, Netherlands, is a leading supplier of pipe cutting machines, robotic profile cutting lines and associated cutting equipment solutions around the world. HGG maintains subsidiaries in the Philippines, China, India, the Middle East, and most recently in the United States.

HGG Profiling Equipment, an HGG subsidiary located in Medina, Ohio, provides comprehensive sales and service support for the company’s growing customer base in North America, Central America and South America. HGG Profiling Equipment serves an array of industry customers in Steel Construction, Piping Process Industries, Offshore/Onshore, Crane Building, Ship Building and others.

  • HGG, specialists in 3D profiling, continues to expand their line of pipe cutting machinery for manufacturers and fabricators. With unique 3D steel profile cutting capabilities that combine plasma and oxy-fuel processes, HGG pipe cutting machines dramatically reduce grinding requirements, fitting and welding time, multiply productivity and virtually eliminate layout time. Customers can count on increased capacity and a reduction in labor and manufacturing cycles.

There is our HGG ProCutter 600 and 900, incorporating all HGG advanced technology and expertise in our two most affordably priced machines. Expect operational excellence with both machines available with oxy-fuel, plasma, marking and CAM interfaces. Also expect lower fitting and welding costs and full penetration welds.

SPC 500-1200 chuck-type Stationary Pipe Cutting Machines process and cut a wide variety of materials, sizes and wall thicknesses, making them suitable for all kinds of applications. They are also available with oxy-fuel, plasma, marking and CAD-CAM interfaces. Expect dramatic savings on welding and fitting costs, optimum operator safety, ease of use, and CAD to machine efficiency.

Our SPC 660-1200 RB Stationary Pipe Cutting Machine Lines combine roller-bed automation, providing an uninterrupted material flow while controlling the rotation of the material with a floating chuck registering linear displacement. Expect extremely accurately cut shapes, automated productivity and CAD to machine control.

HGG SPC 1500-3000 Pipe Cutting Machines are all extremely robust, handling large pipe diameters and heavy weights. Every detail of these machines has been carefully crafted to guarantee precision cutting tolerances during the cutting process. It’s why all of these machines are especially suited for fabricating vessels as well as for offshore production. Expect thick wall accuracy and perfect-fit technology delivering exceptionally round holes, as well as the elimination of layout time. Plus, count on holes being easily located, positioned and cut with unparalleled accuracy and at maximum speeds for all ranges of walled thicknesses. Pressure vessels that used to take as much as ten hours to prepare and cut now take about an hour.

All HGG Stationary Pipe Cutting machine solutions are designed to profile complex beveled edges and 3D profiles made from steel. Combining robotics, the company’s patented biaxial cutting head, and proprietary software, HGG Stationary Pipe Cutting and Profiling machines all enable users to cut angles from plus 70˚ to minus 70˚. This capability assures optimal weld preparation for precision part alignment, which in turn reduces welding and fitting costs by over 30%.

HGG is a leading supplier of pipe cutting machines, robotic profile cutting lines and associated cutting equipment solutions around the world, serving an array of industry customers in Steel Construction, Piping Process Industries, Offshore/Onshore, Crane Building, Ship Building and others.

  • HGG’s 3D Tube Cutting Line (TCL) combines precision tube cutting with an automated and custom designed in-feed/out-feed logistics system to increase production capacity. TCL accuracy offers fabricators a cost effective alternative to expensive laser machines, while TCL automation provides fabricators the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing production volume and tight lead times. The TCL combines a pipe and 3D tube and pipe cutting machine with an automated fabrication line with multiple out-feed stations. The end result, fabricators have a fully automated pipe cutting shop in a single machine.

The 3D TCL is specially designed to maximize automated productivity with a minimum of operator interface. Next generation HGG 2.0 3D pipe cutting eliminates operator interference with a new “press and play” technology.  HGG’s chuck-style machine design keeps the torch in a fixed position while its TCL line automatically moves material and finished parts, and at different lengths, through designated out-feed stations, from stock pipe to batches of ready-to-fit parts. The TCL reduces welding and fitting part preparation time by over 30%, eliminating the need for highly skilled welders. In addition, parallel-executed logistics reduce total throughput time by 32%. Health and safety are enhanced by the most effective fume extracting system yet, using a closed cutting cell. The HGG TCL machine should pay for itself within a year.

For steel construction piping, the HGG TCL is ideal for building cranes, trusses, stadiums, bridges, theme parks, expo centers, airport structures, and shopping malls. For process piping, it is ideal for spools, manifolds, pipelines, headers, lobster backs, boilers, and nozzles.
