    Midco Offers Low NOx Burners and a Hybrid of a Power and Heat Makeup Air Burners.

    Midco International will be exhibiting at FABTECH in Chicago, at the McCormick Place in downtown Chicago on November 11th - 14th in Booth #B16085. Of the product lines shown at the show two burner series are of particular interest in today’s HVAC industry, the Low NOx burners (LNB Models) and a hybrid of power and heat makeup burners (VA Models).

    The Midco LNB Series burner is a Low NOx burner that assures complete combustion by using a modulating premix gas blower and a simple direct spark ignition system and a high efficient metal fiber burner head. The modular concept keeps costs low compared to flue gas recirculation burners.

    The Midco high turn down VA Series burner is easy to setup. There is no linkage or complicated electronics. The inducer motor is a variable speed blower that creates a certain pressure relative to the air output.

  • Midco International HMA 2 / HMA-2A (makeup, air) burners are designed for spray booths and process ovens. The two-stage combustion process improves control of the flame process and meets and exceeds ANSI standards. By having two separate flames within the burner combustion zone, the flame is more stable, shorter and cleaner, permitting the reduction of emissions levels and allowing for higher temperature rise and higher tolerance to varying conditions when placed in the profile opening. HMA burners are available in cast iron, aluminum or nickel plated and they fire up to 750,000 BTU's per foot. They can operate between 0.05" to 1.4" W.C. differential pressure range or in air velocity between 800 fpm to 4000 fpm. A 30-1 turndown can easily be achieved with proper modulation control and valves. (Higher turndown possible depending on equipment design.). Straight, elbow and tee sections easily configure to desired capacity maximizing efficiency for installation and performance. Burners may be ignited by proven pilot or direct spark. Pilots are available for flame rectification or ultraviolet detection. Hot surface ignition systems are also available.
