As of July 26, 2021 Jim Allen took on the role of Engineering Manager at InterTest, Inc. Jim came to InterTest with a diverse background including production and engineering product development roles at Crayola, manufacturing engineering at Huber+Suhner, and 7 years of service in the Vermont Air National Guard. Jim has a Master of Business and Engineering degree from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Vermont.
Cited as inventor on numerous patents, Jim is not only a learned engineer, he possesses a spirit of inventiveness and leadership essential to this role and to our continued success.
As Engineering Manager, Jim leads the engineering team and provides essential support to production and marketing. With his extensive industrial background, he is already making important contributions and rising to meet the day-to-day challenges and opportunities of product development and design.
Jim, his wife and two sons live in Nazareth, PA who will both be off to college in the fall.
