Laser Castle Lite is the low-cost, self-assembly Laser Safety Cabin that can easily be built by customers in a single day.

This small laser welding cell is ideal for hand-held-laser welding operations as well as for small laser robots used for cutting, cladding or welding.

The modular build laser safety cell is designed specifically to protect users from the potentially dangerous effects from high-energy laser radiation, and uses an ICS-Solo interlock controller to ensure that the laser is only armed once the door is closed.

This low-cost cabin arrives as a flat-pack in a shipping crate, and is easily assembled on site by the customer. It is supplied with a manually operated door, safety interlock switch, dual-message LED warning sign, Emergency Stop break glass, internal Emergency stop button and entry door maglock – all linked to the ICS-Solo interlock control system.

Standard sizes are 8ft tall and measure from 6ft 6in to 10ft wide and long, as required by the customer.

This is a low cost-cost solution for Hand-held laser welder users to protect personnel outside the pod.

The Dolphin Laser Safety Curtain Pods are made from the latest specially-developed Dolphin laser-blocking material. The pod is an 8ft (2.4m) cube and the material is black on both sides.

Passive Alf is the name attributed to the latest safety helmet designed specifically for hand held laser welding applications.

Although it looks similar to conventional designs, the passive laser welding helmet has inbuilt laser wavelength filtering to prevent the user absorbing high amounts of laser radiation emanating from the laser welding operation.

User safety is paramount and using this helmet will reduce the amount of laser energy  transmitted to a safe level in the event that there is either direct hit or a high level of reflection from the laser welding process.

• The Yoyo guillotine door is a laser safety door capable of withstanding direct hits from laser beams from Class 4 lasers.  The door is made from Lasermet’s Laser Castle laser blocking material.

This makes it ideal for manufacturing environments where laser processing applications are used, as well as for indoor industrial applications that have frequent high-speed traffic.

• The Yoyo Door Can be supplied with the “Laser Jailer” Active Laser Guarding system if required for very high powered lasers.
• The door can be interlocked through Lasermet’s laser interlock controller so that an enclosed laser will only be enabled when the door is closed.
